We welcome Dr. Bettina Bluemling joining our China international research group.

Bettina Bluemling is currently Lecturer at the School of Interdisciplinary Studies, University of Glasgow. She analyses how institutions in rural China influence the use of natural resources, and how new institutions emerge out of resource users' and producers' interactions. Within the field of natural resources, she focuses on water quantity and quality and biomass. She has worked at Wageningen University and the University of Osnabrueck, and has been a visiting researcher at, among others, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Seoul National University and the Swiss Federal Institute of Aquatic Sciences and Technology.
