German-Sino Agricultural Center (DCZ)/ 中德农业中心

The 2015 founded German-Sino Agricultural Center (DCZ) is a joint initiative by the German Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL) and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People’s Republic of China (MARA) and key platform for promoting the bilateral cooperation in the food and agricultural sector. Starting April 2018, the DCZ’s second project phase will be implemented by a consortium consisting of IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH und IAMO. The DCZ’s efforts are directed towards intensifying the political and economic relationship as well as promoting scientific cooperation and exchange of experts. Towards this aim, the DCZ consist of three main focus areas, namely political dialogue, economic dialogue and research dialogue. These three focus areas are complemented by a section for public relations and networking activities.
